Nigerian designers keep showing us their talent and creativity. We can’t get enough of their awesomeness! From runways to lookbooks, the fashion world keeps getting inspired with designers feeding our fashion appetites.
Creative Director of Vonne Couture, Yvonne Nwosu just released a Grecian inspired bridal Sheer Fantasy Collection.
According to the designer, this collection was a bold step that has led to a new market of opportunities- “I’ve designed and made several bridesmaids dresses in the past, but this collection created a platform for me to show my talent in creating a few dresses that the actual bride herself would love to wear. It has a very magical and fairytale like aura. I’m thrilled about it, as a whole new industry has been unlocked for me to explore.“
She thus added that her new Spring/Summer collection is beyond just bridal-“The collection I’m working on now is not bridal, it’s more electrifying. You may have already seen a few pieces floating around… I’m hoping the public will be just as excited to see it, as I am designing it.”
This collection is indeed unique and different. I specifically love how gracious it looks and my favorite has to be the cream colored clothes below. The blue will however work for certain occasions, depending on the individual and off course the theme of the wedding. The details of the lace definitely look wearable while exhibiting some form of alluring uniqueness to whoever wears it. I believe the Ify Jones, the Nigerian-American model chosen for this collection worked all these pieces perfectly.
